My Ella had her birthday on Thursday. After putting together her birthday slideshow, it made me realize how quickly she's growing up. I also saw just how much Emory favors her.
We did chocolate chip pancakes for breakfast and grilled cheese & tater tots for lunch. I also made Rice Krispie treats and melted pink chocolate over the top.
We went out to dinner with daddy to our favorite Mexican restaurant. When we got home, we had the ice cream cake that I'd made at Ella's request. It was my first time making one and it was fairly easy; it wasn't as pretty as I'd have liked, but the ice cream was melting so fast. It tasted great and she loved it!
We still have her friend party coming up next week. She is really excited about that.
